Senior Unity Developer

We are looking for a skilled Senior Unity Developer to join our team, focusing on developing cutting-edge augmented reality (AR) experiences using ARCore and ARKit. As a key member of our team, you will drive the creation of immersive AR applications that push the boundaries of what’s possible in mobile AR development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development of AR experiences using Unity, ARCore, and ARKit, ensuring high performance and a seamless user experience.
- Design and implement interactive AR features and components, from concept to deployment, that integrate smoothly into existing and new mobile applications.
- Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and product managers to translate creative concepts into engaging AR experiences.
- Optimize AR applications for performance and scalability across various devices and platforms.
- Stay current with the latest AR and Unity development trends, tools, and techniques, and incorporate them into your work.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure a high-quality user experience.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing your expertise in Unity, ARCore, and ARKit.

Qualifications:

- At least 5 years of experience in Unity development, with a strong portfolio of AR projects using ARCore and ARKit.
- Deep understanding of AR development, including tracking, mapping, and rendering techniques.
- Proficiency in C# and experience with Unity's scripting API.
- Strong knowledge of 3D math and graphics, including shaders, lighting, and animation.
- Experience optimizing applications for performance, including memory management and frame rate optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Solid understanding of mobile development for iOS and Android platforms.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with other AR and VR platforms (e.g., Vuforia, Oculus, HTC Vive).
- Knowledge of machine learning and computer vision techniques as they apply to AR.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and project management tools like Jira.
- Experience with UI/UX design principles for AR applications.
