+ Senior full-stack Web developer, who has a high degree of ownership and customer empathy

Responsibilities:

Lead the Design, development and maintenance RESTful Web services and front-end frameworks in an Agile environment.
Lead several new technical initiatives while supporting and enhancing existing software stack.
Design and architect the next generation of our billing backend, among other new features.
Work with Product Managers and other business partners to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications.
Follow and enhance existing TDD and CI/CD methodologies.
 

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics. 
+ 7+ years of experience architecting and building large-scale, high TPS web services and applications, using object oriented design principles.
+ 2+ years of experience, working at early stage start-ups and helping their software stack scale and grow.
+ Proven track record of standing up a cluster of RESTful microservices using a modern web framework
+ Expertise in Cloud technologies, preferably the Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
+ Experience with containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
+ Proficient in SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Proficient in NoSQL, Spatial and Vector database design for real-world applications
+ Expertise with HTMX and Tailwind CSS
+ Experience building Go based Services (Gin/Gorm) and Web Apps (Gin/Templates) for GCP
