Senior Blockchain Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Blockchain Engineer to join our team and lead the development of blockchain-based solutions. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining robust blockchain infrastructure and applications that drive innovation and efficiency in our technology stack.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement blockchain-based solutions and smart contracts using platforms such as Ethereum, Solana, or Hyperledger.
- Develop and maintain decentralized applications (dApps) with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and security experts, to define and implement blockchain solutions.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of blockchain applications to ensure high performance and security.
- Research and stay up-to-date with the latest blockchain technologies, protocols, and trends to continuously improve and innovate our platform.
- Optimize blockchain infrastructure for scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead code reviews, set best practices, and mentor junior engineers in blockchain development.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in software development, with 3+ years specifically in blockchain technology.
- Strong experience with blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Solana, Hyperledger, or similar.
- Proficiency in smart contract development using Solidity, Rust, Go, or other relevant languages.
- Deep understanding of cryptographic principles, blockchain protocols, consensus algorithms, and decentralized ledger technologies.
- Experience with token standards, decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
- Strong understanding of security best practices in blockchain development and experience in auditing and optimizing smart contracts.
- Proficiency in using version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools for blockchain deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with cross-chain interoperability and layer-2 scaling solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and networking fundamentals as they relate to blockchain.
- Experience contributing to open-source blockchain projects or communities.
- Strong communication skills and experience leading technical discussions.
